Euro Dog Show 2020 - Slovenia

European Dog Show is an annual event held each year in a different country. Last European Dog Show was held in Wels, Austria, from 14th to 16th June 2019.
After Austria, Cynological Association of Slovenia was chosen to organize European Dog Show 2020, so the European Dog Show will be held in a Slovenian town Celje from 8^th to 10^th October 2020. A large number of exhibitors and visitors are expected at this show.

As usual, only purebred dogs are allowed to enter the European Dog Show. Non-purebreds and designer dogs cannot compete in European Dog Show. 

There are three main types of dog shows: all-breed shows, specialty shows and group shows –a show in which only one of the seven dogs group (working, hound, sporting, terrier, toy, non-sporting, herding) can participate.

The European Dog Show has a tradition of awarding best performing breeds and according to the FCI regulations, the winners are issued with certificates and the records are kept in the Diploma. Some of the awards include: European Winner of the Year, Puppy European Winner, Junior European Winner, and Veteran European Winner.
